Resources for Students

Resources for Students

The links in this section connect students with opportunities to develop as teachers and researchers, to enhance their broader professional development, and to foster diversity in their academic and co-curricular lives. If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, please call, email, or stop by Walker 111; the Dean of Students staff will advise you about resources that are suitable to your needs.

The graduate student experience is enriched by participation in various student groups and programs that focus on political advocacy, fine arts, community service, academic interests, cultures and ethnicities, spiritual/religious faith, athletics, or social events, and may be explored using the tools in this section. Importantly, the University also provides resources for engagement with the wider community through the Office of Civic Engagement, and the University Community Service Center.

At their best, University of Chicago grad students use their knowledge and skills to reach across boundaries in their teaching, research, and civic engagement. We encourage you to use the resources here for exploring Chicago to get acquainted with the wider setting for your academic endeavors.
